Good Housekeeping’s beauty vertical is dedicated to providing readers with expert advice, top product recommendations, and the latest trends in skincare, makeup, and hair care. It features in-depth reviews of beauty products, often backed by the magazine's rigorous testing from the Good Housekeeping Institute.

Design Objective

I recognized the potential to consolidate separate beauty stories for our July/August issue into a cohesive ‘summer beauty special’, making it a feature in print and extending its presence digitally for GH+ membership users, enhancing engagement. I art directed the in-house photoshoot to highlight product selections and visualize summer makeup tips. This digital package caught the attention of ad-sale stakeholders and served as a template for future beauty projects. Additionally, I produced a sizzle reel for social media promotion and collaborated with editors to develop a custom newsletter encouraging reader membership for exclusive access.
